Netwrix PolicyPak - Intune Cloud?

Hi,
We are trying to implement Netwrix PolicyPak solely to be used with an Intune Cloud set up, as we are moving away from our Hybrid environment.
Just looking for some direction on how to do this, the pack ive downloaded from the login did include .admx files that I’ve imported into Intune, but not sure how to set this up for the Licensing side and the access management side.

Thanks
Nick

Hi Nick,

You have a couple of options on how you can to deliver your policies - Through Intune (MDM deployment) or through our SaaS environment (Cloud Deployment).

Most customers opt for our SaaS offering as it is easier to manage and maintain. Intune can be used to deliver the initial Cloud Client installer, but after that it’s all cloud. If you have nbot yet seen it, below is a Getting Started KB video that give you a good overview of the process.

For deploying policies VIA Intune….

Let us know if you need any further clarification on the differences between them.

Thanks,

John

Hi John

Much appreciated! Yeah this looks great on how to set up policies to deploy to devices with the cloud agent on them.
Just have a question around the license. I do have an endpoint policy management license xml. just now sure how this works with cloud? if at all.

Kind regards
Nick

Assuming I found the correct you in our system, I see that you have an Enterprise license, and were given license key for your Intune system. With an Enterprise license, you can distribute policies using any of the available methods (On-Prem, MDM, SCCM or Cloud); we just need to know which one so we can give you the appropriate license.

That said, for the Cloud service, an XML license is not required and licenses and access are built into the portal, we just need to know how many computers will be connected to that portal to receive their policies.

If that is something you want to do, then reach back out to your rep and let them know that you want to start using the the cloud portal - Instead of, in addition to… what ever the case may be. Assuming the number of computers do not change, let me know that.

If you are still having issues, or need to get more technical, the best route would be to open a support ticket through the Netwrix Support Portal and we can assist there.

Hi John

Really appreciate the quick responses here!

So i’ve checked and our license is for 150 computers, and going forward we’d only want to use Cloud with these. So not sure if you could proceed with assigning that for us?
If you need any information further information on confirming the company/license this is for, then please let me know.

Many thanks
Nick

Hey Nick. Getting it changed will need to be done through sales or renewals. Start off with your account rep, I believe it’s Shehzaad Khan) or the person that handled your renewals. If your not getting the responses you need, then you can create a support ticket through the Netwrix Support Portal then we can assist getting in you in touch with who you need, but it needs to go through that process. Thanks.

Much appreciated John.
Yeah we have reached out to Shehzaad previously but haven’t gotten a response yet.
That link to the support portal doesnt seem to work for me? just takes me to a page that says im already logged in. Any ideas?

Kind regards
