Ensure that EPP notification popups are always displayed as top-most windows and cannot be sent to the background until acknowledged by the user

What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Ensure that EPP notification popups are always displayed as top-most windows and cannot be sent to the background until acknowledged by the user.

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

Currently, when an EPP notification is triggered, the popup window can be hidden behind other active windows, making it difficult for users to notice the alert in a timely manner. This may lead to users missing important security notifications or delaying their response to potential security events.

To address this issue, we propose that EPP notification popups should always appear as top-most windows and remain visible until the user explicitly acknowledges them by clicking ā€œOK.ā€ This approach ensures that critical security alerts are immediately noticeable and cannot be unintentionally ignored.

We believe this is the most effective solution because it directly improves user awareness and guarantees interaction with important security notifications, ultimately strengthening overall security compliance and response.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

Currently, there is no reliable way to ensure that users notice EPP notifications immediately. Users must manually check for alerts or rely on repeated notifications, which is not an effective or consistent solution and may still result in missed or delayed responses.

Dear @jwkim,

Thank you for being an active member on our Community!

I’m happy to share that our product team is currently working on a redesigned prompting experience. The aim is to better align it with the ā€œUser Remediationā€ section, which will improve both usability and overall functionality.

As this is a larger initiative, we’re not able to provide a specific timeline just yet. That said, your suggestion is valuable, and it will be taken into consideration as we move forward.

We’ll keep you updated as progress continues.

Regards,
Simona
