Add Option to Open EPP Client from Notifications

What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Blocked device notifications in Windows can only be dismissed - add option from the notification to open the EPP Console.

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

Hi Everyone,

I think this would be an improvement more for our end users as it would make it easier for them to request a offline temporary password.

When connecting a blocked device currently a notification appears but clicking on this notification dismisses it. I think it would be helpful for the toast notification to have an option to open the EPP client.

It would also be beneficial for the notification to show up in the notifications list as currently this is also not the case.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

I’m only aware of users being able to do this currently by clicking on the chevron to open the system tray then clicking on the EPP client and then submitting their request. Many users don’t often interact with the system tray.

If there is a simpler way please let me know so I can pass that on!

Hi Andrew,

Nice to meet you, and thank you for sharing your idea.

I’m pleased to inform you that our product team is already working on a new design for the entire prompting mechanism. Our goal is to align it more closely with the “User Remediation” section, which will automatically enhance its quality and functionality. As this is a significant project, I’m unable to provide a specific ETA at this moment. However, I assure you that it is one of our priorities for the current mid-term perspective. Stay tuned for future updates!

Best regards,
Krzysiek
