Change permissions of objects by selecting existing "pre-defined rights"

What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Change permissions by selecting existing ‘pre-defined rights’ rather than moving between OUs to overwrite with ‘pre-defined rights’

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

To quickly and easily change the permissions of an object using “pre-defined rights”, you currently have to moving back and forth.

It would be much easier and more user-friendly if you could select in the permissions whether you want to overwrite the current permissions with “pre-defined rights”.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

Move the object (password, document, OU, etc.) to another OU without changing the permissions. Then move the object back to the original OU and overwrite it with a “pre-defined rights”.

Hello Daniel,

Thanks for your suggestion! We’ve noted your idea of simplifying permission changes by allowing users to select “pre-defined rights” directly, rather than moving objects between OUs. We can see how this would make the process much smoother, and we’ll share this with the team for review. We’ll be in touch once we’ve had a chance to explore this further.

Thanks again for taking the time to suggest this!

Best,

Kristina
