Bind permission templates to form types
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
In our usecase we would like to have specific permission templates bind to specific form types, because we have specific form types for specific departments within our company.
Now they are bind to organization units, which doesn’t fit our usecase 100%.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
Make many different permission templates and always choose the right one, which can be very faulty.
Good news: this feature is already available in Password Secure. You can configure the right permission templates not only to organisational units, but also directly to specific forms - even down to individual form fields, if needed.
To do this, just open the configuration of your rights template. In the tree on the left, expand “Passwords” and you’ll see the option to select single forms. From there, you can fine-tune the permissions as required.
This way you can tailor your templates precisely for each department and form type, without the need to create lots of separate templates manually.

I’m currently right there, got there via Organization Units - right permissions - and then like you explained.
If I change anything here, it seems like I would just change the permissions for the organization unit which I used to get where I am now. Even If I mark any form type under passwords.
