What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?
Add support for Zoho Webmail as a parser for Deep Packet Inspection to enable PII content inspection and blocking.
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
Currently, Endpoint Protector’s Deep Packet Inspection functionality supports selected webmail parsers such as Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo. However, Zoho Webmail is currently not supported as a parser.
Due to the absence of a Zoho Webmail parser, Endpoint Protector is unable to inspect the text and content entered by users while composing emails through Zoho Webmail. As a result, PII policies cannot be effectively applied to detect and block sensitive information being shared through Zoho Webmail.
We request that Zoho Webmail be added as a supported parser under the Deep Packet Inspection / Content Aware Protection functionality, similar to the currently supported webmail platforms.
Supporting Zoho Webmail would allow Endpoint Protector to inspect email composition content, identify configured PII data patterns, and enforce the applicable PII policies before sensitive information is transmitted.
This enhancement would provide consistent DLP/PII protection across supported webmail platforms and help organizations using Zoho Webmail maintain their data protection and compliance requirements.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
Currently, there is no equivalent configuration or policy setting available within Endpoint Protector to inspect the content of emails being composed through Zoho Webmail.
As confirmed by Netwrix Support, disabling the DPI WebSocket bypass does not resolve the issue because the limitation is the lack of a supported Zoho Webmail parser.
Therefore, PII data transmitted through Zoho Webmail cannot currently be inspected and blocked by Endpoint Protector’s Deep Packet Inspection mechanism. Organizations have to rely on alternative controls outside Endpoint Protector to address this requirement, which does not provide the same centralized PII policy enforcement.
