What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

view all Group Policies applied on a particular endpoint, and vice versa, which endpoints have a specific GPO applied

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

As of this date, Netwrix Auditor does not provide the feature of mapping all Group Policies applied on a particular endpoint, and vice versa.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

we are trying to make ways with manual/powershell scripting inspections of GPOs but its quite complex & unstable process, plus we need to put the data in a professional report, and obviously we only get the raw data or simple html/xml based report if we push the limits in manual hunting

Thanks for idea! Today, Netwrix Auditor focuses on changes auditing for Group Policy - e.g., who changed which GPO, when, from where, and the before/after values - and provides predefined reports and an Interactive Search for those changes. It does not currently inventory the Resultant Set of Policy (RSoP) per endpoint or provide a built-in “GPO ↔ endpoint” mapping view.

If your goal is to see “all GPOs applied to a specific endpoint” and, conversely, “which endpoints received a specific GPO/setting, my thoughts are about Netwrix Endpoint Policy Manager. https://netwrix.com/en/products/endpoint-policy-manager/

Hi; sorry for the delay in replying.

So, we have the Group Policy Compliance Reporter.

It’s job is to:

  1. Have you design a TEST (series of policy settings within GPOs you want to CHECK for.)

  2. QUERY online machines -or- have those machine “explain their current state” to a server.

  3. VERIFY if those TEST policies ARE or ARE NOT on those endpoints.
