Simplify Credential Managment - Begin With Credentials
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
Current Credential Management requires the creation of a Connection Profile to hold credentials and then filling that container with one or more credentials for operations and tasks.
This can cause the same credential to be entered independently into multiple profiles and necessitate extra work during maintenance activities such as password rotations when the same credential may need its password update in multiple connection profiles.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
Flip the credential entry plan
Begin by entering credentials, and then assign those credentials to a Profile to be used by jobs.
This way each credential is only entered once and can be managed in one touch.
