Automatic Password Rotation for DB credentials

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

I’m currently working with a customer on adding their SQL databases to Change Tracker. They asked if it would be possible to implement password rotation for their DB credentials.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

Create a V2 credential that can be shared across multiple database connections, and manually rotate it.

Hi Pavel,

Thank you for submitting this request. However, at this time password rotations don’t fit within the current product strategy for Change Tracker.

This request will remain tracked, however it’s not planned at this time.
