Keeping the assigner’s name

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

In the event of the departure of a collaborator who has assigned one or more roles, the solution displays “Given by a deleted user.” and In the case of an assignment by a script, it displays “Given by policy.”
We believe it would be preferable to retain the identification information of the role assigner (script or human) in order to maintain traceability of actions.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

Thanks for your submission.

  1. Retention of the role assigner’s name in the role assignment even when they have left the organisation: this feature will be included in the next release of the 6.3. When users are deleted or archived from a DB, you will still be able to retrieve the user name by clicking on the information icon as shown below.

  2. For your other request for when a role is “given by a policy”, I’m not sure what information you are looking for in this case. Do you mean the user who executed the script, or the name of the script? Let me know! :slight_smile:
