We use Azure for IaaS resources. To minimize spend, we shut down all of our non-prod VMs during “off-hours” to minimize compute cost. During these hours, Auditor will throw errors stating that the resources are not available.
Is there a way to tell a File Server monitoring plan to only “run” during certain hours and certain days? We had a similar issue with NDC but there is a way set a schedule in that solution so we were able to prevent all of the errors from being generated.
There is not a way to tell Auditor to only collect at certain times. We could omit the errors but they would be omitted completely. I would not recommend that because then if the server really did go down, you would not get any warnings in Auditor.

OK. Thank you. I am going to put a feature request in the Ideas section. I’m sure the folks who use this product in cloud IaaS VMs are running into this as well.
