Monitor when a user connects a mobile device to their Microsoft 365 account

What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

I would like the Netwrix Auditor Exchange Online plan to monitor when a user connects a mobile device to their account

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

When we used to have on-premise Exchange, the Netwrix Auditor Exchange plan had the capability of monitoring when a mobile device was connected to a user’s account. It would just be another entry on the report telling me the time of when the user connected the device just like how the report would tell me the time and date of any other Exchange task. This was very helpful to me because I was aware of when someone connected an iPhone or Android to their account and compare that to our mobile device management system to see if someone tried to circumvent connecting to said MDM. Then I could reach out to that user to make sure they connected to our systems properly and also block their device until they did. However, when we moved to Microsoft 365, the Exchange monitoring plan no longer tells me that and when I ask support they say they don’t have that capability currently.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

I have to keep a running list of people I know are not currently connected to our MDM system and periodically check inside of Exchange Online by going to the user’s account properties and looking under the General - Manage Mobile Devices link if anything is connected.
