support gMSA accounts for Exchange monitoring
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
Please consider adding support for gMSA accounts to be used for monitoring Exchange (hybrid).
We’d like to only support one monitoring account for all of our Netwrix Auditor monitoring, and not have one account for Exchange and a separate gMSA account for other monitoring plans. gMSA is supported for the other key monitoring plans below.
• Active Directory (including Group Policy and Logon Activity)
• File Server (currently for Windows File Servers)
• SQL Server
• SharePoint
• User Activity (including User Activity Video Recording)
• Windows Server
I asked support if this intentionally wasn’t (or couldn’t be) supported and the answer was to enter an Idea, so here I am.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
We’d like to get away from using domain admin for Netwrix Auditor, as most of your customers should, for security.
