Compare environments tool to allow for detailed comparison of COA between Production and Sandbox

What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Need ability to compare production to sandbox within setup preferences to show detailed differences in COA setup.

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

During our merger project, I’ve been asked to review all changes made to our test/sandbox environment and compare to production. We are bringing on several brands and it has required us to alter subsidiary and COA alignment. The team needs improved visibility of internal id’s versus having to extract in excel and/or navigating between environments.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

We conduct a working session to review both environments, utilize a shared document of changes and then edit the accounts in NetSuite. The concern is missing something or mis-aligning when we are ready to move all items to production for go-live. An accurate comparison tool to notify us of differences would be helpful.

@jlantz Welcome to the Community & thank you for submitting this enhancement request. We are currently evaluating if we are able to enhance the setup preferences to support complete documentation of the COA. I will update this post once I have more information.
