Make it Possible for Indirect Profile/Permission Set Changes to be Compliant

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

We have a situation where every time we create a new field, and the field addition shows as compliant, every Profile/Permission set that has access to that field’s object, gets a non-compliant change log created. This happens even on standard profiles that are not in use. We get dozens of these every time we deploy a new field. We need a way that these are created as Compliant so that we do not have to constantly audit and manually close these change logs.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

Manually audit change logs weekly, add a resolution, close and approve the change manually. This is extremely time consuming and non productive.

Hi @dorriespahr, Welcome to the Community and thank you for posting this enhancement! We are currently evaluating how this can be improved for future and I will update this post again once we have something concrete.

In the meantime, I believe the best option, as a workaround, would be an in-line edit, on a list view of the Profile and Permissionset Changes, to mass-resolve them. @AndreDupont, will be able to help you put this in place if you feel this could be helpful.
