Add QQ application to CAP exit point

What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Add QQ application to CAP exit point

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

Many of our customers operate subsidiaries in China, where employees commonly use an application called QQ. We attempted to manage this through the QQ International application listed under the CAP exit points, but Chinese users primarily use the domestic version of QQ, which is currently not being controlled by the system.

There are many Chinese users who need to use this application externally, and completely blocking its execution is not an option, as it is tied to essential business operations.
Therefore, could you please add the domestic QQ application to the CAP Messenger exit point?

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

It is currently the third most widely used application in the world, so support for it is critical.

Hello @Jskim,

Thank you for your request!

We understand the scenario that you’d like to achieve and for that I will kindly ask you to allow us some time to look at this internally. We’ll get back with updates as soon as possible.

Regards,
Simona

Dear Kim,

Thank you for your patience while we reviewed your request.

After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that we’re unable to proceed with adding support for the QQ application. Due to regional access restrictions in Europe, we’re unable properly test the app to ensure reliable functionality and support.

If it meets your requirements, we recommend continuing to use the QQ International application, which is already supported in our Content Aware Policy.

We truly appreciate your understanding and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Kind Regards,
Simona
