Session recording approval

What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Add a disclaimer asking the user if he/she agrees to the session being recorded

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

In the menu Policy - Access Policy - Connection Profiles - pick one CP - Record Proxy Session
Add the possibility of activating/deactivating a disclaimer that is shown to the user at the start of a session.
If a user approves the session will be recorded.
If a user does not approve, the session will not be recorded.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

I do not record sessions

Thanks for the product idea!

I understand certain regions have laws governing this type of behavior, and happy to backlog this request. I will add an option so that as well as your suggestion of making recording opt-in, you will also be able to optionally deny a user access if they do not agree.

I cannot give a timeline for this right now, but will update here once we’ve locked this to a release quarter.
