Netwrix Privilege Secure September '25 Release (25.09.16002) is Now Live!

The documentation for Privilege Secure September '25 Release (25.09.16002) is in progress and will be available at a later date. Please see the following ‘What’s New’ section for new features, bug fix lists, and other information about this release.

What’s New

Features

Host Scan Service

The Host Scan Service is a new dedicated component responsible for performing host scans. Previously, these scans were handled by the Action Service, which also managed a wide range of other tasks. By moving host scans into their own service, system performance and reliability are improved, as the Action Service can now focus on its other duties without being burdened by scan operations. This separation ensures faster, more efficient host scans and better overall system responsiveness.

Microsoft Edge Browser Support for RDS Web App Launcher

The RDS Web App Launcher workflow, previously limited to Google Chrome, now also supports Microsoft Edge. This enhancement provides users with greater flexibility and convenience by allowing them to choose their preferred browser. Organizations that standardize on Microsoft Edge can now fully leverage the RDS Web App Launcher without changing existing workflows, ensuring a smoother and more consistent user experience.
