Privilege Secure Monthly Cadence and New Release Number Format

I am excited to tell you that we are moving Privilege Secure to a monthly release cadence with a new version numbering scheme to match!

Here are the details:

  • Privilege Secure will have a fixed release each month​.
  • Version number made up of [YY].[MM].[DD][build of the day] e.g., 25.5.23002​.
  • Monthly release will be built on the last Thursday of each month​.
  • A formal announcement will be made in the community the following Tuesday.
  • The build will be made live in the customer portal to coincide with the Tuesday announcement.
  • Each release will be made of up bug fixes and features as they are developed.​

This new approach will improve our ability to get new features to market, together with the speed at which we can release bug fixes.
