What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?
Currently we are able to see all the resource group used in an access policy but not the other way
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
I often have scenarios where I have to look up where a resource group is being used, so it will be advantageous to be able to see that relationships from the resource group details page much like you can see the details under access policy.
in the same way it will be useful see the resource group names under the resources view as well.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
we currently have to check every access policy to see which resource groups are used
It would be awesome if the same can be done for connection profiles as well. As of now it’s impossible to trace who will be affected If I make changes to a connection profile.
Sure - it would be easy to also add a tab to Resource Groups to show which Connection Profiles are used by Access Policies that the Resource Group is a member of.
Which columns would you like to see in that Connection Profiles table within each Resource Group?
For adding a Connection Profiles tab, we wouldn’t be able to add an “Access Policy” column because a Connection Profile can be added to multiple Access Policies. I assume you only want to see each Connection Profile once in this table, correct?
The name of the Connection Profile and its Description are easy. Type isn’t applicable to Connection Profiles. Are there any other settings within a Connection Profile that you’d like to see the value of in that Connection Profiles table?
I got that list from your message above; I will accept whatever columns you can give.
The idea is to quickly identify what policies will be affected if I add or remove resources from a resource group. At the minimum I need to the access policy group name.
