Request to Update the Domain Field Refresh Cycle in Device Control – Computer List
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
We would like to configure the refresh cycle of the “Domain” field in Device Control – Computer so that it is updated at every policy refresh interval.
Currently, we have been informed that the Domain field is updated only when the agent is installed or reinstalled, or when the license is re-registered.
However, this refresh cycle is too infrequent to reflect changes in a timely manner. If a license re-registration does not occur, there is a possibility that the user’s domain information may not be updated for a long period of time.
We would appreciate it if the domain information refresh cycle could be updated more frequently, or if administrators could be given the option to configure or select the refresh interval.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
Currently, the refresh of the Domain field is controlled through the automatic license deactivation period.
However, since this mechanism also involves license deactivation, re-registering a license solely for the purpose of refreshing domain information poses a security risk from an operational perspective.
Therefore, using license re-registration as a method to update domain information is not considered a safe or appropriate approach.
