Release Notes
New Branding
The EPM Cloud portal and macOS client have been updated with new branding reflecting the return to the Netwrix PolicyPak name.
MAC/Registration Filter
A new option has been added under the Company Details section: a MAC/registration filter that allows administrators to ignore VMware and/or GlobalProtect “Universal” MAC addresses during device registration. When you add these MAC addresses, they are ignored and PP Cloud won’t see a new registration using these details as a “duplicate.”
This was inspired from this community post: CSE & Cloud Client Random Uninstall - PPLM Appx Deployment Occuring - #11 by louis.radley (See? It works!)
Safeguard for Significant Licensing Changes
From time to time human error would creep in during the renewals process where the ADDITION of licenses would become a SUBTRACTION. (Customer with 1000 licenses adds 50, then the result is the customer is left with ONLY 50 licenses.).
This is a comprehensive fix to this problem, halting “backward” changes such as license reduction, backward date-changes and other “backward” motions. These are blocked and must be verified by a member of PolicyPak Support to proceed and be accepted.
