Netwrix Password Secure 26.6.101 is now available.
This is a patch release focused on critical bug fixes affecting permission inheritance, server logging, and database management across the Server, Web App, and Server Manager.
This release introduces no breaking changes and is recommended for all customers.
Fixed
| Component | Description | Case # | Escalation # |
|---|---|---|---|
| Server | An issue prevented permission templates and organizational unit inheritance from applying when creating a password. Only the password’s creator received permissions for it. Existing passwords are not corrupt: after you install the update, the correct permissions apply to affected passwords the next time the user logs in. | 442652 | 4309683, 4309690 |
| Web App | Early web-app calls that flood the server log are now prevented. | 441057 | 4309606 |
| Web App | Wrong styling caused the third line of passwords, directory services, and other lists to have the wrong look and feel. This is now corrected. | 435606, 436861 | |
| Server Manager | An issue caused the database wizard to fail when you created a database without selecting a template. This issue no longer occurs. | 442095 | 4309616 |
