Netwrix Password Secure 26.6.101 is now available.

This is a patch release focused on critical bug fixes affecting permission inheritance, server logging, and database management across the Server, Web App, and Server Manager.

This release introduces no breaking changes and is recommended for all customers.

Fixed

Component Description Case # Escalation #
Server An issue prevented permission templates and organizational unit inheritance from applying when creating a password. Only the password’s creator received permissions for it. Existing passwords are not corrupt: after you install the update, the correct permissions apply to affected passwords the next time the user logs in. 442652 4309683, 4309690
Web App Early web-app calls that flood the server log are now prevented. 441057 4309606
Web App Wrong styling caused the third line of passwords, directory services, and other lists to have the wrong look and feel. This is now corrected. 435606, 436861
Server Manager An issue caused the database wizard to fail when you created a database without selecting a template. This issue no longer occurs. 442095 4309616

Can you also apply the update if you’ve currently paused the database migration to ECC?

Also Updated yesterday (and still using Windows App 26.6.100) and no problems so far.

Hi Pascal,
The team let me know that this is possible without any issues!

A post was split to a new topic: Bugs with Multiline Passwords in Server 26.6.101

After updating Password Secure (Server Manager, Windows Application and Web Application) from v9.3.1 to v26.6.101, the following error appears in the Server Manager log whenever an AD user logs in via the Web Application (see screenshot):

WCF: MtoExceptionRight: VerifyObjectRight: Insufficient right

The error does not occur when logging in via the Windows Application with the same AD user.

Has anyone experienced this issue after upgrading? Any idea what is causing this and how to fix it?

Same Error in the Logs here, too. We also experience Problems with the Webclient loading Passwords, when no Filter or Organisational Unit is selected. It takes 30-60sec before the Passwords are loaded and for some Users they don’t load at all.
