New Outlook Addin - Downtime

Hello all,

since the EPP Addin for the New Outlook is dependent of the hosted files, a downtime of those results in not being able to send any mails:
“Important Note: Having any downtime to the hosted files (mainpage.html, validator.js) will
result in an impossibility to send ANY emails for the users that have the add-in assigned to
their account.”

Is there any way to adjust this setting? A downtime of DLP should not result in a downtime of the whole mailing ability - or at least the option to change it would be nice.

Thank you for reaching out to us on this matter.
Please be informed that this setting cannot be customized, as the timeout is enforced by Microsoft. If the validation process exceeds the allowed time—currently five minutes—sending will be blocked. This can happen if required files that need to be hosted, are inaccessible, resulting in a timeout.
