New Look, Community Survey, and Housekeeping!

New look!

Well, it’s been a couple of weeks—what do you think of the new look? I personally love it!
The rebrand is more than a new coat of paint—it’s part of a bigger effort to reflect where Netwrix is headed: practical innovation, identity-first security, and helping you get stuff done without the noise.

That said, it may look a little different, but we’re still here with the same product news, helpful answers, and practical tips you’ve come to expect.

What do you think of the new style? Let us know down in the replies!

Community Survey

To better serve the community, I’d love to get your feedback on what brings you here and the kind of content you’d like to see more of. Everyone who completes the survey by
2025-11-07T22:00:00Z will be entered in a gift card raffle, with three lucky winners! We’re giving away one $50 and two $25 Amazon gift cards. :tada:

Just a quick housekeeping note: we’re disabling the chat feature for the foreseeable future. If you need to reach out to someone directly, please use private messages (PMs) instead!

Hi Derek,

the first time I saw the new design of the community I honestly thought it was a bug.

The new design is very harsh, straight-forward and without depth of the design elements. It lacks visual differentiation, which makes it extremely hard to navigate. A clearer hierarchy through colors and contrast would improve the user-friendliness a lot. The dark mode makes it a little bit better, but all in all I am missing the old community design.

I get that this is your design language moving forward, but I still think the “readability” of the whole design could be improved a lot as it is not very appealing at the moment in my opinion.

Have to agree sadly. They need to also put the changelog into the portal on Day One when a new version is released. Not wait until the following week to come here and have a difficult time navigating the site to see what is new. I miss Jeremy big time. Speaking of PolicyPak that is.

Hey JG.. thanks for the nice words… I’m still here and I’m still writing the release notes, I promise.

So yes, they’re not emailed directly, but PP release notes .. like this one.. which we shipped this week.

Let me know if you’re not seeing it and I can try to get to the bottom of why !

If its something else I DID but not doing NOW that could make your experience BETTER, just let me know and I’ll work hard to get it implemented! Thanks again JG !

Here’s my secret… Use an RSS reader and subscribe to:

Which will get you EVERYTHING I EVER POST EVER about PolicyPak.

I use BlogTrottr and it just picks up any change / new articles and .. bingo.. instant Jeremy–>post–>email–>inbox flow.

Got it. Thanks again Jeremy!

Hi @EDVGei,
I really appreciate your feedback! I’ll definitely look into ways we can improve readability where possible—even within the new design.

Hi Derek,

great to hear that. Looking forward to it. Thanks!

Hi Derek,

I like the modern look of the new website, but it seems to have a lot of mixed styles.

The modern look: 1Secure: The Future of Data Security | Netwrix
The retro look: Support Center | Netwrix
The Community: far away from modern look, and is a different kind of retro look.

There are tiny changes that would make it look like your modern look:

  • remove the width limitation - enables widescreens to use their advantages
  • Remove the borders from the searchbox and make it just underlined in color as it is in your regular search
  • resume the left borders from the navigation in the top (did only one in my sceenshot)
  • remove the left, top and right border from the table and make only bottom lines in the table

I tried some changes in my browser but to get you you to the idea what I mean here is a screenshot:

It just needs some more modern components, but thats just my opinion.

best regards

Andi

Thank you @jeremy.moskowitz for that rss - I use it now for PingCastle with PingCastle - Netwrix Community

Is it possible to enable email notification instead?

I appreciate the thorough response!

Answered it myself… it was not in the specific product overview page but at: PreferencesTracking

There I can enable notifications for whatever I’m interested in.

Hi Andreas,
FYI you’ll want to subscribe to one of the subcategories within PingCastle. The product-level category is just a container and doesn’t actually receive new topics.

Thanks. So sad. Now I noticed that you can select it but it does not notify. Tags are notified, but not everyone uses tags.

Thats why I got no mail notification for: Remediating P-RODCAdminRevealed - PingCastle / Show & Tell - Netwrix Community - This seems to be really good content that I will read through when I have more time.

Sorry for that confusion, that’s why we hid the icon on that product-level category

You can subscribe to the individual subcategories with this button though!

I couldn’t agree more! Kudos @joe.dibley!
