What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Be able to have a more sophisticated way to allow passwords that are stronger, not just longer in the passphrase rule

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

The passphrase rule is fantastic but has some limitations for customers that want to get more sophisticated. For example, instead of just turning a rule off, it would be nice to have some on and some off so we could turn on some rules if passphrases are used. For example, passphrases must have spaces or hyphens but no other complexity.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

Use a custom complexity rule and leave it on always.

Is it worth going so far as to assign a different policy based on length? This is the most flexible solution, but is potentially confusing to configure and use.

A compromise is to have the on/off feature that you mentioned above and two or three password length thresholds (currently only one). This is less flexible than different policies, but also less confusing.
