Add IIS Application Pool support to service accounts
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
I would like to manage the service user that is used for the IIS Application Pool. I would like it to be managed by Privilege Secure so that when the password is automatically rotated, the IIS App Pool service user entry is updated.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
We have to manually change the password on each web server

This is an element that we should add to our service account management feature. There is a backlog item for it, so I will mark it as planned. There are a couple of moving parts, including adding it to the scanner, so this will likely be later in 2026. We’ll be sure to update here once we have a timeframe locked in.
