Filter by Custom File Extensions for FS SEEK Scans

What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

We would like to be able to scope the File System sensitive data job to only scan specific file types.

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

Currently, not all file extensions can be used for scoping, only the preset ones. We are looking to incorporate .ONE files and .VBS, specifically.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

By setting the FS SEEK job to scan “All File Types”.

Thanks, Tay - I have put this Under Review.

This is critical. The SDD scanner presently supports looking for keys and passwords, but without the ability to search across any file type (even basic ones like .C, .PS1, .BAT, .CMD, .PY, etc….), even via a text interpreter ala Notepad opening anything, including binary files, looking for these items embedded within the files. I would take false positives for these over no ability to find data at all.
