Which version of Privilege Secure do you have?
Privilege Secure AM
What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?
Allow the ability to customize account lockout settings
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
There currently appears to be an “account lockout” after 5 failed login attempts, although I do not see this published anywhere. But, it doesn’t seem to actually lock the account out, as if I turn around and put in the correct credentials, I can immediately log in. A relatively standard security feature would be that “After X number of failed login attempts in Y minutes, your account is locked out for Z minutes.” However, none of these fields seem to be customizable, nor documented, and the “account lockout,” while reflected as such in the logs, does not seem to be true. It does seem be a buffer, preventing the account from locking out in Active Directory.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
No workaround has been found.
