In short, this setting will enable EPP Server Certificate Validation for all communication requests on the EPP Clients. On the server side, you can find this setting in Server Maintenance section, as below:
thanks for the quick response. What does this mean, i only have to enable this function on the appliance itself and that’s it or do I have to touch the clients as well (redeploy/reconfigure)?
Is this supported for any Windows 10/11 OS version or only from a certain build onwards?
No redeploy or reconfigure is needed. We support Windows 10 2004 (May 2020) or higher.
As additional information to what I’ve already mentioned, please note that the Endpoint Protector server must have a valid TLS certificate recognized by the operating system. Otherwise, communication will not be possible.
Therefore, this setting can be used only if there is a valid TLS certificate.
