What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Basic Users should be able to disable Autofill in Browser via Browser AddOn.

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

Basic Users should be able to disable Autofill in Browser via Browser AddOn.
At the moment it is not possible to disable it. In a lot of conditions, fields in a web form are (wrong) autofilled by the browser AddOn! So the data/info is corrupted.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

There is no real workaround, which makes it impossible to use the Password Secure Browser AddOn for a lot of users.

That annoys me every now and then, too. There are workarounds, but they’re ugly:

  • Logoff from the database before opening such problematic websites:

  • Use browser private mode and disallow extension there

  • use another browser that you normally don’t use, just for tjose websites.

Thanks for sharing your workaround.

They are doable for IT staff, but not for “normal users”…
