Provide the ability to display newest alert items by default.
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
When viewing alerts, it’s uncommon that we are interested in the oldest alerts, we are most interested in the newest alerts and then work backwards. Providing a way to view the newest alerts first would just make the process more seamless. If there was a savable display filter or by just making the default view newest to oldest when displaying alerts.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

This is a valid workflow, especially for teams focused on real-time triage.
We’ve seen differing preferences here, with some teams relying on oldest-first for backlog and audit workflows, so changing the default globally would introduce tradeoffs.
A more robust approach would be to support user-level or saved view preferences for sorting and filtering. You may have noticed we have been making a lot of refinements to the UI recently so we will consider this for a future enhancement.
In the meantime, sorting can be quickly adjusted per column to support your workflow.
