What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?
In our organization, managers are responsible for requesting access rights for their team members. Currently, when a request is being processed, managers cannot easily see who the application validators are for each requested right.
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
This lack of visibility causes several challenges:
- Managers cannot effectively track the progress of requests
- In urgent cases, they must systematically contact administrators to identify which validators to follow up with
- This creates additional workload for administration teams
We suggest Netwrix Identity Manager to evolve to display task recipients (application validators) in one of two possible ways:
In the workflow supervision / steps visualization, display the application validators concerned for each requested right.
On the employee profile, after clicking a role pending validation, add information indicating the validator(s) assigned to each request.
Expected benefits :
- Increased autonomy for managers in tracking requests
- Reduced inquiries to administration teams
- Better user experience for managers
This enhancement would significantly optimize our use of Usercube and improve the overall efficiency of our rights management processes.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
Currently, we are using a manual workaround that is inefficient: managers directly contact administrators who then have to check who the validators are and follow up with them via email. This process is time-consuming for all parties involved and creates unnecessary back-and-forth communication.
