We’re pleased to share a follow-up regarding the recent issue some customers experienced with Netwrix Platform Governance for NetSuite version 7.7.1, as previously discussed in on July 20, 2025 post.
What Happened?
- Some customers received automated email alerts from the system, notifying them of an error during routine platform operations.
- After careful investigation, we identified that the root cause was neither a bug in the Netwrix software, nor the result of any testing oversight on our part. Rather, the issue stemmed from differences between the test and live (production) NetSuite environments.
- We continue to work with NetSuite to ensure we have access to test environments that behave the same as live environments and to this end, they have opened a defect to investigate this further. We will collaborate with NetSuite before the investigation is over to ensure that future issues are prevented.
We are happy to report that we have developed and released a permanent fix in the Netwrix Platform Governance 7.7.1.1 patch version, as well as some additional bug fixes. This update fully addresses the issue – the fix has already been deployed and successfully tested with multiple customers in collaboration with our support team.
The patch will be pushed to customer environments on August 12, 2025, after business hours. Here is the list of all updates and fixes:
