What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?
Add native support for Okta in Netwrix Directory Manager to enable group management, attribute editing, and self-service password changes.
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
Netwrix Directory Manager currently supports integration with Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), offering a centralized interface for managing users, groups, and directory attributes. However, many organizations rely on Okta as their primary identity provider and need similar functionality such as managing group memberships, editing user attributes, and allowing users to perform self-service password resets. Native Okta support would bring parity to Entra ID functionality and expand Directory Manager’s usefulness in hybrid or Okta-centric environments. This addition would streamline identity operations, reduce administrative burden, and deliver a more consistent and secure end-user experience across platforms.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
Currently, we rely on the native Okta admin portal and a patchwork of scripts or manual processes to handle identity tasks. This approach lacks consistency, is more error-prone, and prevents us from delivering the same level of self-service and governance that we get with Entra ID integration in Directory Manager.
