I am running the SharePoint Online Object Permissions report for our data owners to give them a view of all of the folks who have access to something in their respective site/area. We have a number of sites and a Document Center (Document Library) site which has folders for multiple “areas”. Finance, Compliance, Contracts, etc.
I am able to get data when running the report for specific sites but when I try to run it for a specific folder in Document Center, I am getting no data back. I could swear I was able to do this over the summer but maybe I am misremembering. I have tried with and without the wildcard.
Is it possible to run this report for a specific folder or only for an entire site?
FYI - I did look at the documentation site but it did not provide any details about acceptable parameter values or limitations with what can be reported on.
I got some very helpful info from Jacob Brown from Support. Figured I would share it below.
