Release Types Overview

We offer two release tracks to align with different customer needs: Current Releases and Long-Term Support (LTS) Releases.

Current Releases

Current Releases are built for organizations that prioritize innovation and speed.

  • Designed for teams that want immediate access to new features and improvements
  • Ideal for fast-moving environments and evolving business needs
  • Enables customers to stay on the latest version of the product

Support & Maintenance

  • Shorter support lifecycle
  • Only the latest Current Release is fully supported. The previous release is in limited support, and the release before that is no longer supported.
  • Includes:
    • New features
    • Bug fixes
    • Performance improvements
    • Incremental updates
    • Security updates

Long-Term Support (LTS) Releases

LTS Releases are designed for organizations that require stability and predictability.

  • Ideal for large or complex environments
  • Supports longer support timelines
  • Focused on reliability and reduced operational disruption

Support & Maintenance

  • Supported for a longer duration (18–24 months)
  • Includes:
    • Critical bug fixes
    • Security updates
    • Stability improvements

Upgrade Path Considerations

Customers can upgrade from a Long-Term Support (LTS) Release to a Current Release at any time. However, it is not possible to move from a Current Release back to an LTS Release. Organizations should choose their release track carefully based on their upgrade strategy and operational needs. If the decision is made to move to the Current Release track, it is important to understand that continuous upgrades are required to remain fully supported.
