Printer Details for MacOS

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

As an Incident Responder I need printer details for MacOS that are comparable to Windows so that I can determine whether print egress has followed approved internal paths or been printed by a private printer.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

We are not able to do this today.

We’re excited to share that CAP print reports on macOS now include the actual printer name, so you can determine whether print egress followed an approved internal path instead of seeing a generic “Printer” label. Netwrix Endpoint Protector 2608 Client & Enforced Encryption release.
