PPE Client Integration w/ Imprivata

What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

The PPE Client should integrate with Imprivata to display messages on the Imprivata lock screen.

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

Our company uses a 3rd party SSO/MFA service called Imprivata OneSign, and this product overrides the default Windows login and lock screens. It would be amazing if the PPE client could integrate with Imprivata so we could extend the functionality of PPE as well as display PPE messages to the user from these Imprivata login and lock screens.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

We are just going without the PPE Client and extra functionality it could provide us.

Hi Corey. Thanks for taking the time to make this request. The OneSign client is a little different to most other credential providers because it displays its own password change dialog box rather than using the usual credential provider UI. That is why it is not currently supported. We recently discussed the possibility of adding support for it.

@tyler.reese

Yes; however, that password change dialog box can be substituted. In our organization, if you click the “Change password” link, it redirects you to the web page for our 3rd Party Self Service solution. I am sure that if Netwrix wanted interoperability that you could open a ticket with Imprivata and work with them and a toggle could be created to switch from default to 3rd party. We can open a case internally with them as well.

Thanks @corey.moeller. Do you have a link to the documentation that explains how this third-party integration is enabled and configured?
