| The 6.2 version is not allowing customers to close noncompliant changes by setting the status value to closed if the customer uses a custom layout that exposes the Status field for manual editing. When they attempt to change the status to “Closed”, the system allows the edit but throws a validation error upon saving. We have fixed this issue - the option to edit the status and short description is now controlled by the pencil icon to the right of the Short Resolution Description field. To edit the status value, simply click on the pencil icon and type in the new status.
