New Data Classification Toggles in 1Secure and What they do

Hi All,

With the new features in 1Secure around data classification, do we have anything documented around what each of the toggles does and their effective functionality beyond what is written next to the toggle?

i.e. are these related to Purview labels and if so how does it interact as i cannot select any sensitivity labels, nothing comes up in the search.

@Russell hi, we most certainly do: Add a Source and Connectors for SharePoint Online Sensitivity labels should be picked up from your M365 tenant if they are configured (yes, they are the ones that used to be called MIP, then MPIP). If something’s missing in documentation in your opinion - please add your feedback using the button on the top right.

Hi Dmitry, thanks for the link, i was searching the docs but could not find anything.

Should the app have any additional permissions to be able to read the labels from Purview? I don’t see that any permissions have been documented to be granted the app.

The only new permission i see is * Sites.ReadWrite.All – Read and write items in all site collections, which i assume would be for 1Secure to then write the sensitivity label back or to update.
