I will check this out today at some point and get back to you. Thank you for bringing it to our attention ![]()
Hey @degleton,
After a through investigation we now have a fix for this internally which should be out with this release over the next week or so.
Thanks again for bringing this up!
Great thank you for the Quick response
Same on our side here with version 3.5.0.37 but I just noticed that in version 3.5.0.40 there are an entry in the release notes “Fixed False positive from AzureADKrrberos Objects and our new updated HotFix scanner not excluding them”. I will verify it.
Can confirm this fix for AzureAdKerberos object is in the 3.5.0.40 build
Version 3.5.0.40 which was released last week and available on Github has now again the topic that it couldn’t download because of a virus detected. I thought this was fixed with the introduction/change to ASP.NET 8.
@mkurz do you have more details what system/application/feature blocked and what exactly was reported?
Checking Virus Total with latest Exe File uploaded …
There are some detailed detections, but they are correct: It is PingCastle
There is one unspecific detection with SentinelOne because of what PingCastle can do, but SentinelOne should not block you from downloading.
