DQS encryption and synchronization update
We’ve revamped NDC’s encryption process to deliver smoother, more reliable performance across Distributed Query Server (DQS) environments. The new approach reduces cross-instance encryption errors and cuts down on the configuration work required. NDC servers within a DQS environment no longer require to be joined to a domain, and it is no longer necessary to run NDC as a domain account.
New NDC instances now join the DQS automatically during installation, ensuring consistent setup from the start. Because of this centralized model, they can’t connect to databases created for standalone deployments unless DQS is enabled.
