What’s New in Change Tracker
The following information highlights the new and enhanced features introduced in Change Tracker.
Change Tracker 7.3.0.1 Released March 26, 2020
New Requirement
- NB Mongo Db 3.6.3 is now required, 3.6.9 or above recommended
Enhancements
- Addition of CIS Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 reports
- Addition of CIS Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise (Release 1909) reports
- 5707 File Contents Tracker template editor page - Polling Only Option
- Added key to control lockout/ipblocking - security:auth:lockoutmaxloginattempts=0 will turn both off when security:auth:lockoutenabled=true
- New config key ‘MaxDevicesInRegistrationReportBatch’ (default 500) to control max number of devices processed in Registration Report run
- Addition of CIS Debian Linux 9 reports
Fixed
- To ‘New Report’ addition where a group selection is carried through to the new report from the global selection
- 5362 unable to make the events planned. Replaced mongo sort on PC Description with one on DisplayName
- Planned Change wizard to show group display names in actions summary on last page rather than internal names/ids
- Failure to upgrade existing report xml templates where the existing version had duplicate variable errors
- Distributed cache didn’t correctly notify all directory changes
- Register agent slow in larger directories
- 5701 Some Group Names shown as internal name in UI
- 4500 re: agent counts on performance page including deleted devices

- .NET runtime upgraded from Desktop 4.7.2 to Net Core 3.0
- All nuget package upgraded to latest stable versions, AutoMapper still pending
- StimulSoft reports upgraded to version 2020.1.1
- Kendo UI library upgraded to version 2019.3.1023
- Added CIS certified Cisco IOS 12 and updated Windows Server 2012 reports.
- Device Monitoring Report Data format change to optimize storage - NOTE: previous report runs will no longer be accessible
- Obsolete ‘admin user event queries’ page removed
- Device detail (device page) and Proxied Device detail (device admin page) grid rows can be expanded vertically
- New config key ‘MaxEventHistory’ can be used to alter the number of items in an Events history list from the new default of 15
- New Environment variable “NNT_API_AVAILABILITY” can be used to restrict API exposed by a webserver to functions required by agent communications only (when set to “AgentOnly”)
- 4137 control/reconfigure the HubDetails.xml file remotely (requires minimum agent versions: gen7agent 7.0.0.40 and express agent 2.0.1.10)
- Added JSON Web Token (JWT) based session management
Fixed
- 5029 Deleted devices cannot be re-registered when DeleteDevicesOfflineForSeconds is being used
- 4932 Reports can be deleted by those without permissions to edit
- 5023 License count can be exceeded if devices are added via the API
- 4881 Notifications. Undefined Notification Messages
- 4649 Device Report fails if ‘.’ in group name, fixed to handle period in group names
- 4739 Error when uploading planned change rules json file
- Error encountered during website login could leave browser unable to login
- To DeleteGroupPolicy where tracking templates where removed from ALL groups when should have only been removed from the requested one
- Group internal names were shown in dashboard widget titles and contents instead of display names
