What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Add an option to activate the lock on end date calculation when manually assigning a role

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

When a role is assigned manually, with the assigned role functionnality or in the permission basket, you are asked to enter the start date and end date of the assignment. There is a lock option that will automatically calculate the end date of the assignment, but by default this lock is inactive.
I suggest to add a configuration option to choose the default value for that lock.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

We are always activating the lock manually

I think this is configured in your Policy if Iā€™m not mistaken.
Did you have a look there?
It might be inherited from there; on the resource type, you can configure whether you want it to come from the Policy or not. I hope this helps.
