Mac OS support for password change feedback

What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Add macOS client support for Netwrix Password Policy Enforcer to provide real-time password policy feedback during password changes, similar to the Windows Credential Provider experience.

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

Currently, PPE offers comprehensive password policy enforcement and real-time feedback for Windows users through its integration with the Windows Credential Provider. However, organizations with mixed environments including macOS endpoints are left without equivalent policy visibility or enforcement on those systems. This creates inconsistent user experiences and potential compliance gaps, as Mac users may unknowingly set passwords that violate organizational standards, resulting in helpdesk calls or failed logins. Introducing a macOS client for PPE would bring feature parity across platforms, ensuring all users receive immediate feedback on password strength, complexity, and policy compliance at the point of change whether through system preferences or enterprise identity tools integrated with macOS.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

We rely on post-change enforcement mechanisms such as the generic domain password rejection, but it confuses users as they don’t know why their password wasn’t allowed.
