What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?
Add the Count column to the export output (CSV/XLSX) in the Content Aware Report.
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
Currently, when exporting logs from the Content Aware Report, the Count information is not included in the CSV/XLSX output. This creates a gap between what is visible in the UI and what can be analyzed externally. The Count field is critical for understanding how many times a specific event or rule match has occurred, especially when working with large datasets. Including this field in the export would allow for more accurate analysis, filtering, and reporting. This is the most effective solution because it ensures consistency between the UI and exported data, and eliminates the need for manual aggregation.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
Since the exported data does not include the Count field, we go back to the UI, fill in the filters, run a search, and then check the relevant Count values there. This creates additional manual effort and slows down the analysis process.
Upload any other supporting files that you think should be considered in this idea.
Thanks for raising this. Having the Count visible in the Content Aware Report but not available in the exported CSV/XLSX is definitely something worth checking, especially if you rely on exports for analysis outside the UI.
From what we can see, Create Export is intended to also include the expanded Log Details fields, including Count. If that is the option you used and the field is still missing from the output, then we may be looking at something we need to validate first, to make sure we’re not missing something.
Could you share the Endpoint Protector version you’re using and confirm whether the file was generated through Create Export or through the standard export buttons in the report (screenshots attached)? Just for confirmation.
Once we have that, we can review it internally and come back with a clearer answer.
We are currently using Endpoint Protector version 2602.0.1.0. The file was generated using both the Create Export option and the standard export buttons.
In both cases, the Count field is not included in the exported file.
