What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Allow the ability to set “exclusive” authentication methods for both internal portal as well as remote access gateway.

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

We have to have unique authentication configurations for the remote access gateway and internal web UI. We would like to be able to set one as “exclusive” on the remote access gateway, presenting only ONE option in an attempt to prevent DDoS attacks, but also have a different “default” or “exclusive” option selected for our internal web UI to limit the options to our internal users.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

We are not publishing our remote access gateway externally until this is addressed.

You can set the external authentication method as exclusive, and then that is the only option presented on the RAG portal, but then no other methods work to sign in on your internal portal.

Or, were we incorrectly informed when we configured our RAG? We were told we had to have a different authentication method configured for our external portal and our internal portal. If we could utilize the same one for both, then problem solved.
