What is a one sentence summary of your feature request?

Missing options in Azure NDM

Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.

Due to Microsoft’s restrictions on third-party applications, NDM is unable to provide the full Exchange experience when connected to an Entra ID/Azure Identity Store.
The Delivery Restrictions option is not working with EntraID in NDM. After testing and working with Support, NDM cannot make changes to office 365 for distribution groups. The options within the Active Directory identity store are more functional and should be replicated to the Azure identity store.

How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?

Unable to use Azure identity store and i’m forced to use the AD identity store. Essentially Azure is non-functional.

We absolutely understand the expectation that the Azure/Entra ID identity store should provide parity with the experience you’re getting today with Active Directory.

In some vendors are constrained by the APIs and permissions Microsoft exposes to third-party applications, which can limit what we are able to support. We’ll add this specific request around Exchange delivery restrictions and distribution group management with Entra ID to our backlog for further investigation and evaluation.
