Provide error text in UI message instead of having to go to the event Log
Please describe your idea in detail. What is your problem, why do you feel this idea is the best solution, etc.
When an error occurs in NDC, most of the time, you just get a generic message saying that something bad happened and that you have to look at the Event Log to get the details. The event log entry has basic exception text that could be displayed in a message in the UI. This would prevent folks from having to access the Event Log to see the error message. Not all NDC users have access to the Event Logs on the application server.
How do you currently solve the challenges you have by not having this feature?
I have to log into the VM to open the Event Log to see the details of the error message.
